Users review: During the week I was digging around trying to find criticism of this review to see what they think of their first screenings. Well, that's not good, and I feel let down already. They all basically say the same thing that jumps and scare a lot of time, but thats about it. This story is too convoluted and just not as good as the first. Also, there is too much humor and wit in it, and it takes away from the build up of tension. But does that stop me from seeing the first chance I get to Thursday night? As a die-hard film Insidious demon and from the first, there is nothing that can stop me.When film opens with the sound of the original Insidious creepy high-pitched instrument, I was excited. I am ready to sit back and enjoy the ride. And did I ever. In conclusion, I knew immediately that this issue is more terrible than the first. Im not saying the story is better, or that it was written, acted, movie or other verb you can think of done better, because that's debatable. But what I know for sure is that this is more frightening than the first. And that's the whole point of a scary movie, right? For fear? A number of jumps and the current scare will be with you, that's for sure. Patrick Wilson did a fantastic job, as it has done in the last series of horror films. While the two subordinates ridiculous to Elise that brings humor to the table, I do not think it takes a lot away from fear and terror as a whole. At least not as much as the critics said it was. What I like about this movie other than fear, is that it tied together some things from the first. I had not expected it. You will see what Im talking about when you see it for yourself. You might say something along the lines of what I said when it happened .. Wow, that beautifully planned and executed. Props to the writers. This story is more complicated than the first, but if you can follow, you will truly appreciate and enjoy it. And complexity that would make the movie worth seeing a few times to catch everything. Be prepared to hop a mil in a chair in some parts. So laugh when the heart rate back down. Im give the 9/10. But it is quite biased because I love the first movie. So realistic, 8/10. |
