Users review: Sigh! I do not watch too many movies, and even less on the big screen. So after watching Despicable Me (original) a lot of time at home - and love it to death, this film was a big disappointment for me and my daughters in theater. It was hard for me to put a finger on what is missing, but I think it's mostly the lack of intelligent, witty debate, which filled the first film . There are many funny moments in this film, but they are mostly sight gags and one-liners. And, unfortunately, the gap between these points was just too gorgeous. FYI, my girls (10 and 7) were also underwhelming - though my youngest asked me to get it on DVD or iPad, so she could play several pieces liked.I she really thought this sequel was a lot of possibilities - especially Lucy in nature, but much of this potential wasted only. Villain is described with very stereotypical Caricatures and PC, and unlike vector (the villain from the first film), did not have a motive. Evil plot was actually kind of scary, and not to be funny, and the characters seem to spend a lot of time doing things that were just not as fun to say things that were just not as funny. All general, a real disappointment for once in our blue-moon his trip to the movies. |
