Users review: Its unfair stamped out of the oven bad movie. Its a good shot. Setting the effective deployment and powerful. The performances are subtle and beautiful. The sense of time is easy to understand. Unfortunately, the positives end there. While its authentic and pretty film, lazy, heavy-handed script offers very little originality and rings most untrue. The oven can be accurately described as a gritty, authentic look at the blue-collar, lower middle class people. Its pretty simple kind vs bad guys revenge film that avoids melodrama by choosing instead to be boring. As he plods slowly along, it is increasingly clear that it has no interest, which allows us to infer something about the things the story. Emotions compel us are manipulative and unnatural, and the dialogue is so heavy-handed and full of clich? I, I felt I was watching a student film. The result?. Whew. Is there a more inspired way to say this movie is about ordinary people than that Pearl Jam played at all? High-point performances that make this film more than wasted. Bale continues to prove that our generation DeNiro, brings skilled subtlety and Gravitas for each application. Affleck continues to the best of his more famous brother, Ben, in each role. Saldana is great and I hope it will have a better material today. Unfortunately, very little of any of these guys to work with here. So, no matter how powerful the film seems to think that the average poor writing and direction proved otherwise. |
