Users review: I must say I was this movie a total spontaneous decision on my part, and I went into this completely unaware of what I was getting myself into. While you're there, I felt my senses were attacked, but it was more than I could viscerally recognizable. Therein lies the greatness of this film. It makes you think about what images thrown at you and think why. The picture is clear that from what is called the Good Life sold the youth of our time: money, drugs, sex and parties. It's the American dream. The film follows four girls, the atrocities that behaves with such depravity, and that is flat on the core reveals that sometimes it can be painful the M. RA. But that's the whole point, and people who go out of this feeling like they have to be robbed of his time by himself or by what they see, disgusted miss the point . I'm not an elitist film critic in any sense either, but I know quite a shock movie, when I see one.I to say that this film is visually beautiful (and no, I ä , r not here, referring to the nudity has ha-ha). It is a dark, dreamy, neon-nightmare. I give credit to the film for that because it candy for the eyes. Production-wise, the film is solid, as is the direction. You feel as if you'll be in a dream, with its pervasive use of slow motion, and I guess that's the effect they were looking to achieve. In this regard, they succeeded with flying colors - literally. Theres also a beautiful during the robbery of a restaurant that one of the girls rolled the car around the building, catching glimpses of what they do, has been crafted features scene. A very good piece of cinematography. The cast was too large. I can not really have much to say about the female cast, because they all work well in their respective roles. James Franco on the other side really stood and delivered an outstanding performance in what I would say is one of his most challenging roles, since the character itself is just so unappealing and unlike someone before he has shown. He definitely made this film, and without him it seems to be a magic ingredient missing. Time and time again proves Franco its value as one of the major players of his generation. He obviously knew that these films exceeded in value most of our expectations. It seems the point of this movie is lost on most, which is a shame, but I can understand why. On the surface, it is a flat and boring crap theater without arguments seem to show us some tits and ass to be. There is so much more. I love movies that make me think, also to observe whether they interfere at the time. Well, that's what we should observe, to enjoy after all. This is what our media, our culture, our idols represents the epitome of what the good life. We encourage our young people to live in abundance. Is not that what they Gori connection with the film? Are you not entertained? No? Is not that only, but it? The truth hurts. This is the truth about what our young people aspire. Unfortunately, it is not. Maybe I'll give this a 1 star rating. I'm sure that's what the director wants me to do. |
